Board Certification: By June 2028, the WTPS BOE will achieve NJSBA Board Certification. Board Certification recognizes the full board’s commitment to effective governance and continuous improvement through training.

Student Voice: By June 2025, the Board of Education will increase student voice and participation in the school district by ensuring that at least 50% of board meetings between January 2025 and June 2025 include active student representatives, and by facilitating at least two forums where students can share their perspectives on public schools and education.

Community Outreach: By June 2025, the Board of Education will increase community outreach by conducting at least 1 outreach event or initiative.
