This month, the Westampton 5th graders competed in a Math Olympics. Students competed to see who had the highest jump, furthest leap, fastest sprint, and the furthest frisbee throw. Once completing all of our events, students gathered all the data and built line plots. They also used this data to answer multi-step word problems, practicing a variety of the skills we have learned this year. After completing their line plots, each class held their own award ceremony to celebrate the top competitors and our MVP’s who showed incredible sportsmanship. We are proud of all of you!
