pink out

Westampton Middle School soccer team participated in the first ever Pink Out game on September 30th. Students, staff and parents donated and showed their support for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation by purchasing apparel from the National Junior Honor Society or wearing anything pink. The NJHS organized the event that started with students and staff wearing pink throughout the day and ended with an after school soccer and field hockey game. This is the first time the Westampton Giants didn’t wear their classic green jerseys and went with their “Giants Pink Out” shirt and socks. Family and friends arrived at the field early to decorate while Westampton students came out to cheer their team on. The sidelines were packed with students, family and friends. It was amazing to see all of the support for such an event. Westampton plans on continuing what will hopefully be an annual tradition for years to come.
