
Some "EGG-citing" things were happening at Holly Hills today! Mrs. Jedwabny’s and Mrs. Luisi’s readers hunted the hallway for eggs! Each egg had a word that needed to be broken down into syllables and read. We practiced the rabbit rule today!
Mrs Kelsey's Sprout 🌱 students went on a Sight Word Egg Hunt! They had to find and color the matching eggs 🥚!

Students at Holly Hills were treated to Special Guest Readers from the WIS & WMS Student Council! Former students even had the chance to reunite with their Elementary School Teachers!




Holly Hills is full of love ! Mrs Salmon's PreK read The Color of Us...Showing we’re all different on the outside but we’re the same on the inside. Mrs. Plantier/Mrs. D-R's class spent time sharing their favorite books with each other!




Holly Hills is kicking off the month of March with our Book Madness Tournament! Students will be voting on 16 books to see which book wins the championship. May the best book win!!

Today members of our community visited Holly Hills as they participated in our African American Read In. Students heard amazing stories written by African American authors. Thank you to all the visitors who celebrated this event!





It was Valentine's Buddy Day for Mrs.
Wright/ Miss Hansel's classes today! Students worked together to make Friendships crafts!



Holly Hills was bursting with spirit today!! Students sang the EAGLES Cheer, made crafts, played games and even had a special guest " Swoop" who made the rounds visiting classes today! Go EAGLES!





Third Grade Enrichment enjoyed their first Book Club lunch today! They are preparing for the Battle of the Books this spring! Stay tuned!



Look at Ms. Salmon’s pre-K class with all of the toiletries that they collected for the Community Service Club’s collection for the homeless! Great Job 👏🏽 It's not to late to donate items!



Holly Hills celebrated the 100th Day of School! The hallways were busy as we counted 100 students as they entered the building! Many students transformed into 100 year old children. Kindergarten even switched rooms to do various 100 day activities! It was a fun filled day!





Mrs. Jedwabny’s spelling superstars used Pop-Its to help with encoding today. We practiced words with the /ar/ spelling pattern.
